Sariska Tiger Reserve in the Aravalli hills is home to tigers, leopards, sambar deer, nilgai and the stunning Pandu Pol gateway. It is also the setting of the 1978的重大事件 — the dramatic relocation of tigers from Sariska to Ranthambore — and recent rewilding has brought tigers back. With fewer visitors than Ranthambore, the experience feels more intimate and personal.

- Pick-up from Alwar railway station or Jaipur (approx. 3.5 hours from Jaipur).
- Check in at a jungle lodge or hotel near the park gate.
- Afternoon gypsy safari into Sariska Tiger Reserve — search for tigers, leopards, sambar deer and nilgai.
- Pandu Pol gateway — the iconic stone arch at the park entrance.
- Stay: 3★ / 4★ jungle lodge in Sariska (breakfast included).

- Early morning gypsy safari (6:00 AM start) — predators are most active at dawn.
- Return to the lodge for breakfast and midday rest.
- Afternoon gypsy safari (2:30 PM start) — explore different zones of the park.

- Sariska is closed during the monsoon (July–September). Safaris run October to June.
- Fewer visitors than Ranthambore — a more intimate experience.
- Gypsy safari seats are limited; book at least two weeks in advance.
- Carry binoculars, sunscreen, a hat and a valid photo ID proof.
